Large-scale demonstrations continue to be an effective method for conveying socio-political causes to local governments and raising awareness among the general public. This project investigates how wireless technologies can facilitate this socio-political communication within interactive systems by enhancing the experience of participating in a demonstration.

Vest Design

Inspired by symbolic candlelight of peace (demonstration in South Korea) and transmission, and creating mashups with web 2.0 systems of participation, sharing and opening. A convergence object of a social and sensorial connection acts with political alarm, using the mechanisms of aesthetic gestures and the domino effect.
