Pattern + Light + Shadow is a series of dimmable lighting cubes inspired by the visual structure of Hangul, the Korean alphabet. The cube surface is covered with cut-out patterns based on Korean typography, allowing light to pass through the letters and create delicate shadows in the surrounding space. By combining language, pattern, and illumination, the project transforms Hangul into an atmospheric lighting object that changes its expression depending on brightness and environment.

Hangul is composed of consonants and vowels arranged into syllabic blocks. This modular structure becomes the foundation of the pattern design, highlighting the geometric beauty and cultural identity of the Korean writing system.
